Before I head off to my next assignment today (a baptism in Zurich), I wanted to give you a little glimpse into yesterday’s wedding and the incredible team of vendors who made it all so special ❤️

Can we talk about that dream weather yesterday? Absolutely perfect! And honestly, the @vitznauerhof never disappoints. It remains one of my all time favourite wedding venues ❤️

Some weddings just stay with you forever. 🤍

Not only because of the beauty of @villacastelletto_ , but because of the people behind it all.

Stephie & Nic are one of those couples that slowly became so much more than “just” clients… We spent more than a year bringing their vision to life together. Intense at times, emotional, inspiring, challenging, but always with so much trust and excitement behind it. Getting to not only photograph this wedding, but also create and design so many parts of it, including all the stationary, made this one incredibly special for me.

Fun fact: we actually met four years ago at another wedding I photographed and the couple from back then ended up leading their ceremony. Full circle moments will always get me 🥹

And this place… Villa Castelletto will forever hold a little extra magic for me too. Quietly. Deeply - in a way that’s hard to explain.🥹

I’m just very, very grateful for these two and for the trust they gave me from the very beginning. Stephie & Nic. Thank you for trusting me with so much more than photos, your wedding was unforgettable in every possible way. 🤍🥰🥹

Hi, I’m Julie 🤍

I’ve been photographing weddings for almost 10 years now and have documented more than 300 love stories so far. And honestly… I still get excited for every single one 🥹

I just love weddings.🥹
The atmosphere, the emotions, the chaos, the energy… The little in between moments nobody notices but somehow end up meaning everything.

I have my daylight studio in Arnegg St. Gallen, photograph weddings all across Switzerland and abroad too. But the most important thing for me has always been the human connection, because the truly emotional images only happen when there’s real trust and genuine chemistry.🙏🏻

I’m openminded, emotional, perfectionistic, probably way too detail obsessed and deeply in love with everything aesthetic. Hair, make up, fabrics, light, colors, emotions, humans, art... I do touch ups during weddings, fix veils, calm nervous breakdowns and somehow end up being photographer, cheerleader and crisis manager all at once 😅

And then there’s Marcel 🤍
My husband. My favorite human. My calm in every storm.🥺🤍

He joins me at almost every wedding over 6 hours as my second shooter, BTS videographer, emotional support and the person who somehow keeps everything together behind the scenes.

We work together so naturally by now that most of the time we don’t even need words anymore and I genuinely think our couples can feel that.😇

Great wedding photos are never just about beautiful locations or expensive cameras. They’re about trust, energy and creating a space where people feel completely comfortable being themselves 🫶🏻🤍

P.S. If you ever come over for a meeting at our place… you’ll probably get the best coffee too🤫
