Destination Wedding in Tuscany - Selina & Markus at Villa Castelletto, Sinalunga, Italy

There are weddings and there are moments of the heart. When I returned to Villa Castelletto in Sinalunga for Selina & Markus' wedding, it wasn't just a job for me as a photographer, but a very personal journey. It was here, in this dreamlike location, that I had celebrated my own wedding a year and a week earlier. Coming back was like a loving "welcome home" - familiar, touching and magical.

Selina & Markus deliberately decided against clichés and opted for a wedding that was just like them: intimate, authentic and full of love. No big circus, no unnecessary frills, just a real get-together with their favorite people. For a whole weekend, they celebrated, lived, laughed and spread that special energy in the middle of the Tuscan countryside that words can hardly capture, but the pictures tell it all the louder.

Villa Castelletto, with its Mediterranean charm and soft evening light, was the perfect stage for this chapter of their love story. From the open-air ceremony with views over the hills, to their dinner together under a canopy of lights, to their quiet moments together - every moment was imbued with meaning.

As a photographer, I was not just an observer, but part of this special interaction. I was not only allowed to document, but to experience. This wedding was not just an event, it was a feeling. And you can feel that in every single shot.
