Sometimes there are assignments that are more than just jobs - they go straight to the heart. The wedding of Lara and Sandro, my dear friends, in September 2024 was just such a moment.
As soon as I looked through the camera, I knew it was going to be emotional today. Really emotional.
(And yes, the first tears were shed faster than a good espresso at an Italian wedding).
Seeing and accompanying friends get married:
It's a privilege that can't be put into words. But I'll try anyway: this closeness, this trust, this real connection - it all makes photography even more intense, even more real, even more magical.
The day? A poem on all levels.
From the weather (it couldn't have been better) to the atmosphere to the guests... The atmosphere? Relaxed, warm, full of love and joy. Lara and Sandro showed us: you can rock a wedding and still remain totally relaxed - even with a child.
Your little treasure was an integral part of the day - present everywhere, loved everywhere. Grandma, grandpa, friends, groomsmen - real teamwork at the highest level. No one was stressed, no one was overwhelmed - it was as if everyone knew instinctively: Today we're not just celebrating a wedding. We are celebrating family, love and community.
And then came this sunset.
MAGIC, guys. I'm not exaggerating.
The light was so perfect that even the camera would have paused for a moment if it could. Warm, soft, golden - just perfect for the last emotional couple photos of the day.
A crowning finale to a day that had already exceeded all expectations.
