Before I even started planning the wedding, I kept coming across Julie's profile on Instagram. I was immediately captivated by her pictures - it was as if she was capturing not just moments but real emotions with her camera. A friend of mine who had recently got married gave me some advice that made me think: "In the end, all you'll have left of this day are the photos, the ring and your husband." However, as I am a rather insecure person who often feels uncomfortable in front of the camera and tends to brood a lot, I decided to book a separate photo session first. Dear Julie, if only words could express how grateful we are to you! Not even really looking for a location and only engaged for a few days, we contacted Julie directly a year and a half before the wedding. If there was one thing that was important to us for the wedding, it was that Julie would be our photographer! And what can I say, the first written correspondence and then getting to know her via video showed us that we couldn't have made a better choice! And then the pictures. On the day of the wedding, apart from your spouse, you are not as close to anyone as you are to your photographer and you want to be surrounded by someone who makes you feel safe and who can ground you with calm and humor. Dear Julie Ever since we discovered you on Instagram, we knew that we wanted to ask you to be our wedding photographer. No sooner said than done and we would make this decision again and again.
